PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Natural Diced Dried Pears are prepared from sound, mature, fresh pears which have been washed, pitted, sun dried and cut to desired size (diced). The product is inspected throughout the process to assure conformance to good manufacturing practices, yielding a clean, wholesome product which meets all standards for human consumption. PHYSICAL Color: light to dark brown, characteristic of un-sulfured dried pears. Flavor: sweet to tart, typical of the variety, and free from off flavors. Defects: reasonably free of defects as defined by the Dried Fruit Association (DFA) of California standards for dried pears.
